I love it, but steering is a bit awkward
“I love it. My back loves it. I bought the unit with two adaptors, one for the nosewheel on the Mooney and one for the tailwheel on the Starduster Too. The adaptor for the Starduster Too is not quite right because it doesn’t fit the nuts on the tailwheel properly, but I’m sure I can get the proper fitment with a call to this great company. Fortunately, moving the ‘Duster around is still within my ken.
The only minor ‘complaint’ I have is that steering the unit seems awkward. Going straight is no problem, but to make a turn, I have to stop, reorient the unit a bit, make a little turn. Stop again. Works great, had trouble with tires skidding
“My T1 unit works great! I got it back in June, and I was having trouble with the tires skidding on the epoxy floor of the hangar. However, I recently talked to the customer service team, and they recommended raising the fork assembly and lowering the handle angle. Right away, I could tell the difference. No more skidding… no kidding!
Other than that, this has been a perfect unit. I like that it’s very portable. It fits great in the baggage compartment of my Piper Archer. The customer service has been outstanding. When I bought the T1, I flew out to the Harry Browne Airport in Saginaw to pick it up, and they brought it right to me, fully assembled. I loved that they came out to meet me.
